From October 17 to October 22, 2008, a party of six (the vice mayor, the president and
the vice-presidents
of Kamisu International Friendship Association and two members of the secretariat) visited the city of Eureka,
California, the sister city of Kamisu.?
They discussed the content of future interchange between two cities, and shared opinions about cultural
exchanges among junior high students, among citizens and also, about the commemorative event in 2011
to celebrate 20 years of the sister-city relationship.
