●Kamisu International Friendship Festival

Kamisu International Friendship Festival was held at Wedding station MIYABI on Feb. 24th, 2008.
There were booths introducing 8 countries with national sweets, such as Brazil, China, Thai, Philippine, wearing their national costumes.  People in Kamisu enjoyed international culture and having communications.
256 participants including 111 foreigners from 14 countries enjoyed stage performance, such as Japanese Drum, Japanese Dance, Foreign Songs.

We’ve done some projects for local globalization supported by Takara-kuji (Public lottery) promotion.

●Issuing multi-lingual “Kamisu City Map”
We issued city map covering all over Kamisu in 5 languages (English, Chinese, Portuguese, Thai and Japanese).  This map contains information, such as public utilities, schools, banks, hospitals, taxi companies and so on.  Maps will be provided for people who have finished alien registration at city hall.  And also they are available at main public utilities.
